National Novel Writing Month is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing November 1. The goal is to write a 175-page (50,000-word) novel by midnight, November 30.I wanted to take a moment to send some good luck vibes to my Dad and Chris who are both scribbling in the dark of night to hit the 50,000 word mark. G'luck.

Thanks. I am enjoying it. In fact it's quite a bit of fun, and it's a nice deviation from my normal routine.
(Hmm... 22 words, that's a little lacking, clearly I wasn't descriptive enough, and did bog down my comment with useless extra verbiage. For shame, how ever will I reach 50,000 with this kind of slack writing.)
4231 words through day two. I'm ahead -- a little. You need 1667 a day, every day through November.
Ran into a friend last night who was over 5K.
Press on Chris.
